Repurposing Old Lamps

  I found these lamps at a yard sale years and years ago.  They have worn several different hats (shades and colors) over the years.  I really love the shape of them and wanted to repurpose them, but they were WAY out of style.  Like many of you, I tend to start a project and then move on to a new one before the first is complete.  Some refer to this as Designer’s ADD.  Anyway, I decided to wait to start on the lamps until I had a vision for them. Springtime Mantel

Welcome Spring Spring is a fun time of new beginnings especially in my home!  I enjoy decluttering and freshening things up!  We just had Spring Break, but it went way too quickly and really made me excited for my kids to be home this summer!  In the meantime, I want to enjoy this lovely season and all it brings – our 13th wedding anniversary, Easter, baseball, and soccer! Fall Fireplace Mantel

It’s Fall Y’all! Here in Texas we are still experiencing some warm (ok, hot!!) weather, but I am so ready for the season of Fall! I could not wait to start decorating.
