This fall season I am feeling so grateful.  It has been an interesting  year around our home.  As some of you know, last summer (2011) my husband started a new company.  We were excited and nervous and a little unsure, but knew that this was where God had led our family and Marc’s career.  What we did not anticipate was a flurry of things around our home, conveniences that we take for granted – going OUT.  Not just one, but our dishwasher, the air conditioner in Marc’s car, our washer, our front door knob, our garage refrigerator, and the pool pump.  To top it all off...

Spring Door Decor

Come on in! The weather here is amazing and definitely makes it fun to have people over!  I’m so glad you are here! When I saw this wreath in the Pottery Barn catalogue, I loved it! However, I turned the page and kept going. When I saw this wreath at Knock Off Decor, I took a second glance and decided to try to make it myself! What I liked about it – the white flowers, the simplicity, and the green moss.  I also like that today it says Spring, but with the simple addition of a little nest and eggs it will say Easter (which is how PB actually sold theirs).  I love multi purpose...

Book Page Canvas – BOO!

Some of my favorite things in blogland this year have been the Book Page Crafts. The Book Page Canvas has shown up in many different forms across blogs, catalogs and pinterest so I decided to try it out for myself! A girl can only resist so much temptation! I started out with a blank canvas, foam brushes, orange craft paint and Mod Podge – all from Hobby Lobby. Fall Fireplace Mantel

It’s Fall Y’all! Here in Texas we are still experiencing some warm (ok, hot!!) weather, but I am so ready for the season of Fall! I could not wait to start decorating.
